I tend to be pretty minimalistic in my day-to-day dressing, but I love to funk it up with accessories. This amazing coat by french designer Malam doesn't quite fit the standard definition of an accessory...but it would be an amazing topper to any outfit now that Fall is almost here. Elegant enough for work, but cool enough for hanging with the kids...this would be a fantastic addition to my wardrobe! Check out more totally unique fashions HERE.

Architect student-turned-designer Christine Rhee is the name behind the up-and-coming womenswear label CRHEE. An Ohio native, her entire collection is minimal yet avant-garde with innovative, architecture-influenced pieces that still manage to be totally wearable. Recently selected to show her Spring ‘09 Collection with GenArt’s prestigious “Fresh Faces” Fashion Show being held during New York Fashion Week, this is a label that I am sure we will be hearing more about! Check out more of her pieces HERE.

This gorgeous dress by I Like Dress is fitted through the waist and ends with a flirty chiffon twirl. This dress has a fantastic vintage feel to it that is still totally modern with the crystals at the neckline. Evening rich at an affordable price point...only $58!! See more feminine and modern designs HERE.
I bought these two really cool items while in Chicago from BB Dakota. Edgy urban clothing at really really affordable price points! The jacket, a warm fleece in a wear-with-all navy, was under $70! The cool maxi dress seen above...under $50! I love the the cool, modern boho look of the dress. I will wear it with flip flop sandals and some long funky earrings (which I am going to make today!) for an easy day look. Check out their entire collection HERE and find a retailer near you!
We did some shopping on Armitage Street...a cool hip area in the Lincoln Park area of Chicago. I went to Art Effect, a fabulous shop under the bridge that had everything you could want in one pretty, vintage-inspired location! Fantastic jewelry, candles, and fun home accents, I had fun just walking around the store! I drooled over the jewelry from Avindy (cool and urban looking), the handbags from Orla Kiely (big bold prints), and the funky trays by Ibride...but ended up getting a simple Michael Stars dress in a wear-with-all denim blue color (that I put on the second we got back to the Avenue Hotel) and some fantastic super wide leg silver linen pants by Billy Blues that were marked down to $86 from $286 (they look very disco in this picture...but in person they are subtle and elegant!) They will look fantastic with a simple white tank top! Score!
Las Lopez Las is a fantastic shop on Etsy that I just came across, and I am coveting just about everything they make! Hand knit by three sisters in Argentina, each scarf, stole and poncho is luxe, extravagant and rich. Two of my favorites are the Spring around Your Neck (pictured above) and the In Love Capelet/Wrap (pictured below). The ecru color is perfect for the cooler nights in the Summer and easily transition into the Fall (coming oh too soon!). Check out more of their collections HERE.

I am definitely not a lingerie sort of girl, but with my fascination these past few weeks with the new Batman movie the Dark Knight and my crush on Christian Bale (although what is up with assaulting your mother and sister?), I am liking this sexy corset by Swarmy Clothes. Hand crafted from a Batman tee and black organza and lace, I can wear this under my suit for work and be my very own Super Hero. Check out more amazing inspired corsets HERE.

Belarus natives Iyra and Katya are the New York based designers behind Delirius, a new unique, cutting-edge collection of clothing. Made from ultra-soft and feminine fabrics, all of the pieces have stunning silhouettes with unexpected trims and embellishments. Some of my favorites are the micromodal dresses...flowy and feminine and slightly punky and off-beat with the addition of chains by the back and straps. I also love the beautifully draped tops accented with brocade collars...such a traditional, slightly old-fashioned fabric, made entirely fresh when paired with the flowy tops. A very neutral color palette makes the entire collection totally wearable. Also, all of the designs are unique yet extremely flattering and body conscious, flirty and chic. See the entire collection HERE.

This white cotton twill and knit double breasted military inspired top by fashion designer Stewart Randolph is so cool looking! The snaps and asymmetrical zipper give it a tough vibe, which is beautifully femininized by the pure white color! It would look fantastic with a pair of dressy jeans or trousers! See more of his designs HERE.

Incredibly pretty and easy to wear, I am in coveting the Bella dress from Gaia Concepts. The bold aqua color and the dramatic neckline make this perfectly sexy for an evening out. Throw on a tank underneath and some flip-flops for an easy breezy day dress. Handcrafted from organic cotton, and available in numerous other colors...this is a fabulous, long and loose maxi dress that you will get a ton of use out of!

Lush, slinky satin and silk make these dresses by Nirva perfect for an evening cocktail party! The clean simple silhouettes, in such rich fabrics, are so chic and flattering to many shapes and sizes. Plus, the bold colors are a fabulous alternative to traditional black!

Twenty different mens ties were combined to create this one of a kind bustier top by Kokoleo. Totally unique and sexy in a subtle sort of way, this top would look incredible with a simple pair of black trousers or trouser jeans. Only $145 for a really statement looking piece! See more of her unique designs HERE.
The burst of bold red in this gorgeously sumptuous tunic sweater is perfectly of-the-moment and will brighten up any neutral outfit! Entirely handcrafted by Year of the Goat from handspun sheep's wool, the sweater is felted through laundering for an incredible piece of art! A luxury at $240, but so gorgeous and well-crafted, a wardrobe addition that will keep for years!! See more HERE.

I just got these three amazing tees by AHPeele, a fabulous shop on etsy that creates beautiful, edgy, and totally cool art tees. The husband and wife duo design and print all of the the clothing, taking much of their inspiration from traditional Japanese themes, Tokyo style, nature, street art, and life. Ridiculously soft and extremely figure flattering, I have been wearing them non-stop! They are fantastic!! Prices start at only $28, and right now, they are having one of their awesomes special deals...buy 2 and get 1 free!! Trust me...you will love these shirts. Designed to evoke the effortless grace and style of high-quality European clothing, Robin’s Egg Pink is a fabulous line of women's and children's wear that is perfect for a Sunday brunch or just an everyday romp! I got the beautiful tea jacket pictured above in a gorgeous sunny tangerine color, but there are several other fantastic colors available as well! (BTW...that is NOT me in the photo above...that is the shop's model!!). Perfect for the Spring! Lightweight and unstructured, I wore it with a pair of denim trousers and a white linen t-shirt for an elegant and fun look. There is a matching little jacket available for children which would be so cute for a family picture! Only $55, this jacket is an affordable luxury!!
