Urban Flux

With Father's Day just around the corner, I wanted to feature a few designers this week who make some pretty cool products for the men in your life. Flux Production is a fabulous store that offers some really cool urban accessories for men (and women too!). I especially love the wave scarf (pictured above) , the silk tree ties (pictured next) and the entire collection of men's tees (pictured last). Each item is handcrafted in Brooklyn, NY, and features the most fabulous nature inspired prints. They give a fantastic cool vibe without being overly artsy.

Jarren Borghero is the designer behind the Australian label Temono, a stylish and fabulous accessories line that makes gorgeous handbags, wallets, belts and jewelry out of leather. Each piece is handmade, from the original sketch, to the sourcing of materials, to the actual construction. The attention to detail is evident in all of the pieces, but my favorite, is the Te Fold bag. I don't often come across jewelry that men would actually wear. But, these cuff-links by Aussie designer Rebecca Ward are cool enough for any guy!! Handcrafted from sterling silver and pebbles found in remote New Zealand beaches, these are a sophisticated and contemporary accessory that would elevate any dress shirt to the next level!

Now, I know it is too late to get in time for Father's Day, but these would be well worth the wait!!

Father's Day is this Sunday, and I realized that I didn't post any finds for dads. So, (last minute...I know! Sorry!) I am posting this fabulous t-shirt from Mixed Species that I know my husband (and any casual, good-humored man) would love! I work in a profession where men are expected to dress work appropriate. In this day and age when most offices are "work casual" this is admittedly old school.
