I love blogs that promote the designs of independent artists. IndieSave.com is a new one that is a little different...it offers coupons, deals, sales and other promotional offers from indie designers, brands and boutiques. The premise is simple...indie artists are encouraged to offer specials, and indie-loving shoppers can visit and browse by discount amount or search for their favorite shop. IndieSave.com also has a daily email notifying you of any new promo that has been added. If you are an indie artist, IndieSave.com offers affordable advertising prices so that your shop can be seen. IndieSave.com is a great resource for both indie boutiques and shoppers alike. Click HERE to start shopping...and saving!!

Hey, Mr. DJ, Put a Record On...

Check out this colorful pendant necklace from Groovy Vinyl. Made from a vinyl record, (Rush's "Grace Under Pressure" to be exact!), I love the cool organic shape and the swipe of emerald green and cerulean blue oil paint. It reminds me of an iridescent oil puddle that you see at the gas station! Set on a simple black rubber cord, this pendant is just so fun and funky. What I really like about this shop is that all of the one of a kind whimsical creations are made out of vinyle records. Totally unique, each piece is truly one of a kind. See more of the unique collection HERE.

Scoutie Girl
Scoutie Girl, a relatively new indie blog that features and promotes the work of independent designers, has featured the Clementine bracelet from my new Etsy shop. Written by the super talented Jan DiCintio, this blog has some really interesting finds like the fitted tank tops by Hannah Kopacz. Jan is also a textile artist and makes the most fabulous handbags, key fobs and headbands from absolutely amazing custom fabrics that she actually makes herself. Available at her online shop Daisy Janie, her prices are really reasonable and, in fact, she is having a fantastic sale right now on all her gorgeous bags!! Check out her collections HERE.

Blooming Lily is Blog of the Week
Liana, who writes a fun blog that presents and promotes the work of independent and talented designers, has just named Blooming Lily her "Blog of the Week." Liana lives in Hawaii (I am so jealous!) and is one of my daily reads because she is always updating her site Mixed Plate with unique and interesting finds. She is also a talented artist herself and her website On a Friday features beautiful handmade jewelry, accessories and gifts. Thanks so much Liana for recognizing my blog!
