I love jewelry that has a bit of history behind it. Vintage pieces are so special because, if you use your imagination, you can have a taste of what it might have been like during that particular era. The Coco necklace by Bijoux d'Odalisque is a necklace that speaks to me in that way...the ornate, jewel-encrusted locket, dated to the early 1930's, is gloriously suspended from a long, hand linked chain of gemstones (flawless hessonite, faceted bicolor topaz, grossular garnet, and citrine) for a rich, heirloom-y feel, that is totally modern and up-to-date.
