Ethereal Jewels

I first heard about Vilaiwan jewelry a while back, and was taken with the images as much as the jewelry itself. A native of Thailand, designer Polthakorn Viboonviriyawond (called JoJo by friends and family) creates stunning, almost sculptural, necklaces from beautiful stones, pearls and crystals. Definitely not for the meek or shy, all of his pieces are strong and sizeable and meant to be worn as statement pieces. From his current collection, I am loving this chunky blue quartz necklace and this mother of pearl necklace.
