Cool Site of the Week--Starr Designs

Visitors to a website will determine within 10 seconds whether or not they will stay. (See also here.) Accordingly, it is important to grab a visitors attention immediately. One of the best ways to do this is to create a visually pleasing site that visitors want to look at, stay at, and ultimately, come back to. First impressions are very important. Like it or not, aesthetics play an important role, both in website/blog design and life. A great banner will give your blog or site an instant visual pop and can help create a look and feel that is consistent with your messaging. I just had my new banner (see above!) created for my blog by Starr Designs. Simple yet eye-catching and colorful, it stands out from the standard blogger, typepad, or wordpress templates.
