My parents immigrated to the U.S. from Holland over 45 years ago, but I still speak dutch in their house and I recently took my daughter there for a ten day visit. So, when I saw these gorgeous clothing by designer Kate Bratt I was smitten. Inspired by the landscape of Holland, her collection features voluminous dresses, tops and coats, each hand crafted and printed on gorgeous deep blue cotton with subtle and playful renderings of tulips, windmills and clogs. Available in limited edition numbers, and, sold exclusively at the Shop Floor Project (last week's Cool Site of the Week), I especially love the detailing on the yolk dress and the wonderful swing of the trapeze coat.
